PANJGUR, Balochistan - Pakistani security forces killed five terrorists belonging to the Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Hindustan network in a successful intelligence-based operation in Killi Suran, Panjgur district, on August 19, 2026, as part of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna III .

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were traveling by motorcycles and were on their way to carry out a major attack when they were intercepted at roadblocks using advanced technology and weapons. A large quantity of modern weapons and ammunition was recovered from the terrorists, including vehicles, guns, an IED, ammunition, and the group's flag .

Indian Proxy Network Exposed

The terrorists were identified as members of Fitna al-Hindustan, a term used by Pakistan's official establishment to describe Indian-sponsored terrorist networks operating in Balochistan. These groups receive funding, weapons, and operational guidance from India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) .

According to the ISPR, the terrorists were involved in:

  • Looting of local residents

  • Extortion and kidnapping for ransom

  • Target killings of civilians and security personnel

  • Planning suicide attacks

Operation Radd-ul-Fitna III

The operation is part of Pakistan's ongoing counterterrorism campaign under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna III, which aims to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorist networks from Balochistan and restore stability to the region . The operation follows a series of successful intelligence-based operations across Balochistan, including in Kharan and Mastung districts where eight terrorists were eliminated in June 2026 .
