ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court office on Tuesday returned the contempt plea filed by the sister of PTI founder Imran Khan, Dr Uzma Khan, against the violation of the court’s August 18 orders, which had directed the ex-premier’s transfer to a private hospital.
Speaking to the media, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that the SC registrar had informed him that the petition was being returned, with one of the objections being that the list of charges levelled against the respondents had not been dispatched.
Gohar said PTI will resubmit the petition after removing the objections raised by the court’s office.
