Distinction for Pakistani hospital

ISLAMABAD: Shifa International Hospitals has stated that it has achieved the highest number of Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditations in Pakistan.

A hospital spokesman said the recognitions demonstrated Pakistan’s ability to meet globally recognised standards of healthcare quality and patient safety.

He said the JCI accreditation of Shifa Enterprise reflected the organisation’s commitment to maintaining consistent standards of quality, patient safety, clinical excellence and evidence-based care across its facilities and services.

“The key achievement is the JCI accreditation of Shifa Ambulance Service (SAS), making it the first ambulance service in Pakistan to receive the prestigious international accreditation. The recognition marks an important milestone in emergency and pre-hospital care and highlights the importance of quality and patient safety from the moment a patient receives emergency care,” he said.
