Another terrorist, Shahidullah son of Miraj, a resident of Upper Mohmand, was also identified.Weapons and explosives recovered from the terrorists included one SMG, four pistols, two hand grenades, five magazines, one improvised explosive device (IED), and multiple rounds of ammunition.Imran alias Abu Bakr was a wanted terrorist involved in 20 terrorism cases across Islamabad and other districts, including bombings and the targeted killings of police officers and political leaders.He was also wanted in connection with the martyrdom cases of Maulana Khan Zeb, Senator Hidayatullah and Rehan Zeb.Imran alias Abu Bakr was allegedly involved in the February 6, 2026 suicide attack on an Imambargah in Tarlai, Islamabad. He arranged the suicide jacket from Bajaur and transported the suicide bomber from Nowshera to Tarlai, while Shahidullah conducted reconnaissance and identified the target.Imran was also wanted in connection with the 2023 suicide bombing at a JUI-F workers convention in Bajaur. A reward of Rs12 million had been announced for information leading to his arrest or whereabouts.The identification of the remaining terrorists is underway, while a search-and-clearance operation continues in the area."
