This choice of platform is far from incidental—it signals a deepening strategic alliance between the TTP and elements within India's intelligence apparatus, aiming to destabilize Pakistan from within. Khorasani explicitly acknowledged that recent Pakistani military operations have successfully eliminated top TTP commanders, forcing the group to undergo a painful command restructuring. This admission, while intended to project resilience, actually underscores the effectiveness of Pakistan's counter-terrorism efforts. However, in a bid to mask its weakening operational capacity and to appease its foreign handlers, the TTP made grandiose claims: it asserted it is acquiring long-range missile systems, deploying advanced battlefield technologies, and expanding its footprint by declaring Kashmir as a distinct operational province (wilayat).
