'The Enemy is Killing Us While Spreading Propaganda': CM Bugti's Powerful Message to Balochistan

ZIARAT - Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has issued a passionate appeal for national unity following the deadly terrorist attack on a police checkpost in Ziarat's Kach Mangi Phase-3 on 6 July 2026, which claimed the lives of nine brave policemen .

Addressing protesters at Ziarat Cross, CM Bugti delivered a powerful message about the dual-front war facing the province:

"The enemy is killing us while spreading propaganda to turn our own people against the security forces." 

Direct Engagement with Protesters

Demonstrating leadership rarely seen in modern politics, CM Bugti personally visited the protest site and held direct talks with demonstrators. He listened to their concerns, announced immediate measures to address their grievances, and formed a committee to review their demands .

He invited a representative delegation to the Chief Minister's Secretariat for detailed negotiations, assuring them that all legitimate demands would be addressed in accordance with law, merit, and justice .

Following the successful negotiations, the protesters announced the end of the sit-in at Ziarat Cross and reopened the highway to all traffic .

'Balochistan Has Entered a Decisive Phase'

Earlier, speaking during his departure for Ziarat, CM Bugti declared that Balochistan has entered a decisive phase of the war against terrorism and that the government would not back down even a single step from its constitutional and national responsibilities .

He paid great tribute to the martyred police personnel, describing them as "brave sons who fought the enemy with unparalleled courage, perseverance and professionalism till their last breath" .

He also made an extraordinary personal statement about his security:

"When my soldiers are facing terrorists without bulletproof vehicles despite the limited availability of resources, my conscience would not allow me to travel in a bulletproof vehicle." 

Fighting the Enemy's Propaganda

CM Bugti has consistently warned about the enemy's propaganda machine targeting Pakistan's security forces. He has emphasized that the nation must stand firmly with the armed forces to counter and dismantle the enemy's narrative . He has also identified India's spy agency RAW as having a "clear role behind the deteriorating situation in Balochistan" .

He warned that continuous propaganda against the Pakistan Armed Forces poses a threat to national security and stressed that this is "not the army's war alone; it is a collective war of the entire Pakistani nation" .

The Ziarat Incident

On 6 July 2026, terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan attacked a police checkpost in Kach Mangi Phase-3. Police repulsed the attack, killing 15 terrorists, while 9 brave policemen embraced martyrdom defending the motherland .
