RAWALPINDI - Pakistan's security forces have eliminated five terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed Fitna al-Hindustan (BLA) during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan, while three soldiers embraced martyrdom in the line of duty, security sources confirmed on Thursday.

The operation, conducted as part of the ongoing Operation Shaban, targeted terrorist hideouts in Balochistan, resulting in the elimination of five FAH terrorists. A large cache of weapons, hand grenades, and other equipment was recovered from the slain terrorists.

Three Soldiers Embrace Martyrdom

The operation came at a significant cost, with three brave soldiers losing their lives while defending the motherland against foreign-sponsored terrorism. The martyrs have been hailed as heroes who laid down their lives to eliminate the menace of Indian-backed terrorism from Pakistani soil.

Operation Shaban Intensifies

Operation Shaban - a joint campaign by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan, and police - was launched following the deadly July 7 attack on a police checkpost at Mangi Dam in Ziarat, which claimed the lives of 27 police personnel. The operation aims to dismantle the terrorist network in Balochistan and restore the writ of the state.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has commended the security forces for their bravery and professionalism, stating that the operation against "Fitna al-Hindustan" terrorists is progressing successfully. He reaffirmed that security forces remain determined to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan and will continue operations until lasting peace is restored.

India's Role Exposed

Security officials have identified the eliminated terrorists as members of Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) - a term designated by the Pakistani state for terrorist organizations in Balochistan that are accused of being sponsored by India to execute terrorist attacks on Pakistani soil. The use of advanced US-made weapons, originally supplied to Afghan forces, recovered from terrorists highlights the external support fueling terrorism in the region.

Operation to Continue Until Last Terrorist Eliminated

Security sources have reaffirmed that Operation Shaban will continue across Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated, with the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps, and police conducting coordinated air and ground operations. Pakistan's message is clear: the nation will not bow to terrorism, regardless of who sponsors it, and every resource will be utilized to eradicate the threat.
