LAHOREΒ - In a significant pre-emptive strike, theΒ Punjab Counter Terrorism Department (CTD)Β has dismantled a terror network, arrestingΒ 12 alleged terroristsΒ accused of operating with the backing ofΒ India's Research & Analysis Wing (RAW).

The intelligence-based operations, conducted inΒ LahoreΒ andΒ Faisalabad, led to the seizure of a substantial arsenal intended for large-scale attacks. Recovered items include:

  • IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices)

  • Explosive materials and detonators

  • A large cache of weapons

  • A significant amount of cash, indicative of foreign funding.

Key Arrests:Β The core group, apprehended from Lahore, comprises individuals identified asΒ Sukhdeep Singh, Azmat, Faizan, Nabeel, Abrar, Usman, and Sarfaraz. A crucial arrest was made inΒ Faisalabad, where a suspect namedΒ DanishΒ was taken into custody.
