ISLAMABADΒ - Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has issued a resolute and unwavering message regarding Pakistan's commitment to eliminating Indian-backed terrorism, declaring that the nation will not retreat "even an inch" in its resolve to eradicate the scourge of Fitna-al-Hindustan (Indian-backed terrorism).

Speaking on behalf of Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the Government of Balochistan, the Prime Minister emphasized that all available resources will be utilized to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism threatening Pakistan's stability.

"We Will Not Retreat Even an Inch"

PM Shehbaz Sharif's statement comes amid a surge in terrorist activity across Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, where security forces have been engaged in intense operations against Indian-backed militants.

"On behalf of Field Marshal Asim Munir and the Government of Balochistan, we will not retreat even an inch in our resolve to end this Fitna Indian Backed Terrorism. We will use every resource to eradicate it."

The Prime Minister's declaration reflects the unified stance of Pakistan's civil-military leadership in confronting the threat of terrorism, which officials have consistently linked to external sponsorship, particularly from India's intelligence agency RAW.

Pakistan's Resolve in the Face of Terrorism

The statement follows a series of successful counter-terrorism operations across the country, including:

  • Balochistan Operations:Β Security forces have eliminated dozens of militants in recent weeks, including 17 Indian-backed BLA terrorists in coordinated intelligence-based operations following the 24 May Quetta Phatak attack .

  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations:Β Pakistan Air Force airstrikes in Afghanistan eliminated five top Indian-sponsored terrorist commanders linked to the Afghan Taliban, TTP, and ISKP .

  • Karachi CTD Operation:Β Authorities foiled a major terror plot by arresting two Indian-backed BLA terrorists and recovering 4kg of explosives .

A United Front Against Terrorism

PM Shehbaz Sharif's message underscores the growing consensus within Pakistan's political and military leadership that terrorism - particularly that which is externally sponsored - represents an existential threat requiring a unified national response.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has also taken a strong stance, recently meeting with local protesters and stating:Β "The enemy is killing us while spreading propaganda to turn our own people against the security forces."

Operation Azm-e-Istehkam Continues

The Prime Minister's statement reaffirms Pakistan's commitment toΒ Operation Azm-e-IstehkamΒ - a comprehensive counter-terrorism campaign approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. The operation continues at full pace to "wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country."

Pakistan's Message to the World

The clear and uncompromising message from Pakistan's leadership is that the nation will not bow to terrorism, regardless of who sponsors it. As Field Marshal Asim Munir has previously stated:Β "The Armed Forces of Pakistan will continue intelligence-based operations under Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq against terrorism originating from areas under the control of the Afghan Taliban."
