Both dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the longstanding cordial relations between Pakistan and Democratic Republic of Congo. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed which aims at broadening and strengthening defence and security cooperation between the two countries.Earlier, Lieutenant General Banza Mwilambwe Jules, also called on Admiral Naveed Ashraf, NI, NI (M), T Bt, Chief of the Naval Staff and Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, NI (M), HJ, Chief of the Air Staff.The visiting dignitary lauded the professionalism, operational capabilities and unwavering commitment of the Armed Forces of Pakistan towards maintaining peace and stability in the region and acknowledged the significant progress achieved through indigenization and self-reliance."
