RAWALPINDIΒ - Pakistan's security forces have killed over 10 terrorists belonging to Indian-backed militant groups in a series of intelligence-based operations across Balochistan over the past 48 hours, the military's media wing confirmed WednesdayΒ .

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), operations were conducted in theΒ SurabΒ andΒ MastungΒ districts as part of ongoing efforts against militant groups operating in the province. Security forces killedΒ seven militants in SurabΒ andΒ three others in Mastung, while also arresting two female suicide bombers and a facilitatorΒ .
Security officials have identified the eliminated terrorists as members ofΒ Fitna al-HindustanΒ andΒ Fitna al-KhawarijΒ - state-designated terms for terrorist groups accused of receiving financial and logistical support from Indian intelligence agenciesΒ .
Earlier this month, the ISPR Director General squarely pointed the finger at India and Afghanistan for being behind the surge in attacks, stating that terrorists were using "the territories under the control of this illegitimate Afghan Taliban regime as a base of operation"Β . A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) was recovered from the militants during the operationsΒ .
The operations are part of the ongoingΒ Operation Shaban, launched in response to a series of deadly attacks that have claimed the lives of scores of security personnel and civilians in Balochistan since July 5Β . Security sources have confirmed thatΒ Operation Shaban will continue until the last terrorist is eliminatedΒ .
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the military leadership have reaffirmed the nation's unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism, with PM Sharif declaring that the civil and military leadership have taken a "mutual and singular decision" to end the scourge of terrorism once and for allΒ .
