Operation Shaban Intensifies: Four More Khawarij Eliminated as Terror Tally Rises to 109

RAWALPINDI - Pakistan's security forces continue their relentless pursuit of terrorists under Operation Shaban, with four more Khawarij eliminated in the latest engagement in the Saran Tangi area of Balochistan . The operation, a joint effort by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC), and Balochistan Police, was launched in response to the deadly July 7 attack on a police checkpost in the Mangi Dam area, which claimed the lives of 27 police personnel .

This significant blow to the Fitna-al-Khawarij (TTP) and Indian-backed BLA networks demonstrates Pakistan's unwavering resolve to eradicate the scourge of terrorism.

Weapons Cache Recovered

Security sources have confirmed the recovery of a large cache of arms and ammunition from the possession of the killed terrorists, including M4 rifles, submachine guns, and rocket launchers . The recovery of advanced weaponry, including US-made M4 rifles originally supplied to Afghan forces, highlights the external support fueling terrorism in the region.

Resolve Unshaken

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, speaking at a Provincial Apex Committee meeting in Quetta alongside Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir, reaffirmed the nation's collective resolve: "One thing is decided: it is a mutual and singular decision of the civil and military leadership that we must end terrorism collectively" .

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also commended the security forces, stating, "There is no place for terrorist elements in Pakistan" .

Security sources have reaffirmed that Operation Shaban will continue in Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated .
