A detailed comprehensive account: On a routine patrol in Lower Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a convoy carrying personnel from the Elite Police Forces and the Counterterrorism Department (CTD) was ambushed by armed militants affiliated with the Fitna al-Khawarij, commonly known as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
