LAHORE: PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz started his political activities in Islamabad by meeting a group of incumbent and former party lawmakers at the PM House on Thursday.

The son of PM Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza had maintained a relatively low profile in provincial politics after the PML-N came to power and the chief ministership of Punjab went to his cousin, Maryam Nawaz.

During Thursday’s meeting, Mr Shehbaz held detailed discussions with MNAs Saira Afzal Tarar, Jamal Shah Kakar, Hafizur Rehman Dreshak, former MNA Khurram Dastgir, Murtaza Javed Abbasi, and former senator Behramand Tangi about issues confronting their respective constituencies.

He also chaired a meeting on the PM’s Youth Programme.
