Dera Ismail Khan Authorities Release Wanted List of Indian-Sponsored FAK Terrorists

DERA ISMAIL KHAN - Authorities in Dera Ismail Khan have released a public list of wanted terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij (FAK) , offering rewards ranging from PKR 500,000 to PKR 10 million for information leading to their arrest or elimination.

The move is part of Pakistan's ongoing counterterrorism campaign under Azm-e-Istehkam, targeting Indian-sponsored proxy networks operating from Afghan soil. The public has been urged to report any suspected terrorist activity, with informants' identities to remain strictly confidential.

The wanted list includes high-value targets associated with the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which Pakistan has designated as Fitna al-Khawarij-an Indian proxy network receiving funding, weapons, and operational guidance from India's Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) .

The Indian Proxy Network

Pakistan's military and civilian leadership have repeatedly identified the TTP and its affiliates as Indian-sponsored terrorist organizations. The term "Fitna al-Khawarij" is used by Pakistan's official establishment to describe these networks, which operate from safe havens inside Afghanistan under the protection of the Afghan Taliban regime .

In recent months, security forces have intensified intelligence-based operations (IBOs) against these networks, killing dozens of terrorists in Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, and other districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa . The operations are part of Pakistan's Azm-e-Istehkam campaign, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan, aimed at wiping out the menace of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country .
