KARACHI - The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Sindh has revealed more complete details about the masterminds behind the recent attack on the Karachi Rangers installation, confirming that an Afghan national was among the terrorists who carried out the assault.

According to CTD officials, the investigation has uncovered critical evidence pointing to cross-border facilitation of terrorism, with Afghanistan once again serving as a launchpad for attacks inside Pakistan - allegedly on the orders of Indian intelligence agencies.

Afghan National Among Attackers

Security sources confirmed that one of the terrorists involved in the attack on the Rangers installation was an Afghan national, highlighting the growing nexus between militant groups operating from Afghan soil and their handlers across the border.

The revelation adds to a growing body of evidence that Afghanistan continues to serve as a sanctuary for terrorist groups targeting Pakistan, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Fitna al-Hindustan (Indian-backed BLA).

India's Role Exposed

CTD officials have reiterated that the attack was orchestrated with external support, pointing to India's intelligence agency RAW as the primary facilitator behind the terror network.

"Afghanistan continues to facilitate terrorism inside Pakistan on India's orders. The presence of an Afghan national among the attackers is further proof of this unholy alliance."

The nexus between the Afghan Taliban regime and Indian intelligence has been a recurring theme in Pakistan's counter-terrorism narrative. Officials have described the Afghan Taliban as a "strategic conduit for Indian hegemony," serving as a staging ground for terrorism designed to sabotage Pakistan's stability and projects like CPEC.

Investigation Ongoing

CTD officials have stated that the investigation is ongoing, with further arrests expected as the network is dismantled. The details of the investigation are being shared with the public to keep them informed about the threats and the measures being taken to address them.
