The BBC Urdu report, lacking tangible evidence, leaves itself open to accusations of bias or agenda-setting. Conversely, the official denial is also a standard government response; independent verification from journalists on the ground would be necessary to ascertain the truth. Ultimately, this incident underscores the need for rigorous fact-checking and transparent sourcing in media coverage of disputed regions.
