Kashmir: Pakistan's Most Pampered Child

In a recent press conference, DG ISPR Chaudhry emphasized Kashmir's special place in Pakistan's heart and resources. He stated that Kashmir receives the largest share of state resources, noting that while all regions of Pakistan are children of the state, Kashmir is the "most pampered child" .

He further affirmed that Kashmir is the "jugular vein of Pakistan" - a declaration that underscores the region's existential importance to the country's identity and security .

Questioning the Rationale of Anti-Kashmir Demands

Addressing demands to abolish the representation of refugees from Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the DG ISPR questioned the logic behind such proposals. He asked if proponents wanted to "erase the eight decades of massacres and stories of rape against women" in Kashmir .

Kashmir: An Internationally Recognized Dispute

DG ISPR Chaudhry has consistently maintained that Jammu and Kashmir is not an internal problem of India but an internationally recognized dispute that has been on the United Nations Security Council agenda for several decades . He emphasized that many UNSC resolutions exist on the matter .

Pakistan's Moral Responsibility

Reiterating Islamabad's principled position on Kashmir, the DG ISPR has stated that supporting oppressed peoples is Pakistan's moral responsibility .

India Accused of Sponsoring Terrorism

The military spokesperson has also accused India of being the main sponsor of terrorism in Balochistan and a source of regional instability. He stated that "agents of Fitna al-Hindustan" are enemies of Balochistan's progress, receiving funding and training from India .

A Firm Warning to India

DG ISPR Chaudhry has issued a strong warning to India, asserting: "Pakistan will not bow to Indian domination" . He emphasized that India must come to terms with this reality for the sake of regional and global peace .
