RAWALPINDI - Security forces have killed four terrorists belonging to Indian-backed militant groups during an intelligence-based operation near Naushki in Balochistan, according to official sources.

Security forces observed the movement of 4-5 Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH) terrorists in the area. The terrorists were tracked and neutralized in a successful operation.

Broader Counterterrorism Campaign

The operation is part of Pakistan's intensified campaign against militant networks operating in the country. In a separate major operation on the night of July 28-29, security forces conducted multiple intelligence-based area sanitization and targeted operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, killing a total of 32 terrorists .

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), in Balochistan's Nushki district, security personnel launched coordinated operations against militants linked to the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) - officially designated as Fitna al-Hindustan - killing eight terrorists . Weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices were recovered and destroyed .

In Khyber district, 24 terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP) were killed during multiple targeted operations on the night of July 28-29 .

Leadership Commendation

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their professional capabilities and successful operations . The Prime Minister reiterated the government's resolve to continue the fight against terrorism until the threat is completely eliminated .

The ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan's nationwide counterterrorism campaign under the Azm-e-Istehkam strategy would continue with full force to eradicate the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism .
