As the population of the Hazara division continues to rise, surpassing 7 million, the demand for quality healthcare services in the region has become even more pressing. AMC has managed to offer a comprehensive range of medical specialties, including neurosurgery and nuclear medicine, ensuring that the healthcare needs of the local population are met. However, the facility is faced with challenges, particularly due to its proximity to other medical institutions like CMH and PMA Kakul, which, despite their high standard, cannot fully absorb the growing number of patients in the area.
The international community has increasingly recognized the role of healthcare infrastructure in enhancing the quality of life in Pakistan's underserved regions. Non-governmental organizations and foreign agencies are starting to show interest in supporting healthcare initiatives that focus on building specialized hospitals.
