From Afghanistan's perspective, the ongoing regional crisis is severely harming ordinary Afghans. Taliban policies and disruptions in the Middle East and Iran have driven up prices, collapsed trade, and left the people to suffer the most. Mubarez stresses that this is a humanitarian issue, not a matter of politics, and centers on the survival of Afghan people. He points to Pakistan's positive diplomatic development and notes that Pakistan has long provided evidence that militant groups such as the TTP and BLA operate from Afghan soil, often with alleged Indian support. He also cites the US labeling of Afghanistan as a country of wrongful detention as validating Pakistan's position. Additionally, he argues that India's plan to route trade through Iran's Chabahar port to bypass Pakistan has collapsed, representing another setback for Afghanistan's economy and trade access. Those who celebrated bypassing Pakistan are now facing consequences. Mubarez calls for Afghanistan to improve relations, stop allowing militant cross-border activities, and focus on the people's survival; otherwise, ordinary Afghans will continue to suffer and future governments will bear responsibility. He emphasizes that the issue is about the Afghan people, not about Pakistan or any other country.
