In a briefing to the United Nations Security Council, Pakistan's Permanent Representative, speaking as , framed recent operations as precision-based and intelligence-led. He asserted that seven terrorist camps and hideouts belonging to the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its affiliates, as well as ISIL-K, were targeted in bordering regions. He stressed that the actions were selective, based on actionable intelligence, and conducted with care to minimize civilian harm, underscoring a commitment to regional security and counterterrorism. The ambassador highlighted the importance of cross-border coordination to disrupt terrorist networks, destroy safe havens, and prevent cross-border threats. He called for continued international cooperation, information sharing, and adherence to international law while maintaining the urgency of addressing terrorism at its source.
