A Foreign Office spokesperson stated that there is clear UN-backed evidence suggesting possible collusion between the Afghan regime and the militant groups TTP and Fitna-al-Hind. Despite this, no written assurance has been received that the attacks will cease, in response to the Afghan Taliban defence minister's statement.
